Coastal Storms Program: Columbia River Circulation Model

As part of the Coastal Storms Program, a Pacific Northwest pilot project was launched in 2003.  The Coastal Storms Program is a nationwide effort led by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to lessen the impacts to coastal communities from storms. To accomplish this goal, local, state, and federal organizations are working together on site-specific projects.  More information is available at http://www.csc.noaa.gov/csp
