updated weather and ocean observations, analyses, imagery, and ocean model forecast guidance, along with weather watches and warnings and forecasts, now provides maps of oceanographic forecast guidance from the National Ocean Service (NOS) 3-D operational forecast modeling system for the Gulf of Maine (<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov\/ofs\/dev\/gomofs\/gomofs_info.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GoMOFS<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) and NOS forecast guidance of the marine pathogen, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/products.coastalscience.noaa.gov\/vibrioforecast\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Vibrio Vulnificus<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(Vv), for the Chesapeake Bay via two new map services and map viewer.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" href=\"https:\/\/nowcoast.noaa.gov\/arcgis\/rest\/services\/nowcoast\/guidance_model_coastalocean_gomofs_time\/MapServer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GoMOFS provides<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">high resolution nowcasts (analyses) and forecast guidance of 3-D water currents, water temperatures, and salinity at 3-hourly increments out to 48 hours. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/nowcoast.noaa.gov\/arcgis\/rest\/services\/nowcoast\/guidance_model_coastalocean_pathogen_time\/MapServer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">NOS\u2019 latest forecast guidance on the probability of occurrence of Vv<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a marine pathogen which can cause illness and hospitalization, is issued once per day for Chesapeake Bay and includes predictions for the present day (Day 1) and the next day (Day 2).<\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additional nowCOAST<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">updates include:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incorporation of water level forecast guidance from NOS Extratropical Surge and Tide Operational Forecast System (ESTOFS) for Micronesia into the existing ESTOFS map service.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ability to display National Hurricane Center Potential Storm Surge Flooding Maps for multiple tropical cyclones at the same time.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Addition of georeferenced hyperlinks to Canada Marine Weather Forecast Zones.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"730\" height=\"635\" ArcGIS-based web mapping application developed by the Office of Coast Survey\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nauticalcharts.noaa.gov\/csdl\/RD.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coast Survey Development Laboratory<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and is hosted on NOAA\u2019s 24&#215;7 Integrated Dissemination Program IT infrastructure operated by the National Weather
